Star Trek 201: Time Travel

Last summer I posted a syllabus for a crash course in Star Trek, for the benefit of those who hadn’t really seen much Trek but wanted to be able to appreciate our new Star Trek Fluxxes.

This August, we will be releasing Star Trek Chrono-Trek, a time travel card game based on the full history of the Star Trek universe. (Well, mostly.) It’s based on my classic time travel card game, Chrononauts, but it also improves on the original design in many ways.

Chrono-Trek is chock-full of references to numerous episodes, so to help you get ready, I have prepared this list of all the time travel episodes and movies that are referenced in the game!

Actually, this list will be three lists. The most important list is the episodes that inspired events on the Timeline, since you need to see these episodes to understand how various points on the Timeline are interconnected. Then comes a list of secondary characters and the episodes they are seen in. Last is a list of all the other references — time travel methods, artifacts, etc — and their sources.
